Combining the use of ancient techniques with the latest in modern technology, Ceramica Artistica Solimene has been producing unique ceramicware in the town of Vietri Sul Mare near the Amalfi Coast since 1947. All products are made using a potter’s wheel, finished with a lead-free glaze and guaranteed durability. Carrying on a century-old family tradition of hand-thrown and hand-painted homeware and tiles, Vincenzo Solimene enlisted Italian architect Paolo Soleri in 1951 to build a factory that would become one of the most famous buildings in the region of Campania. The factory is internationally renowned for its uniquely Amalfian yet versatile designs and premium artisanal quality, which can be seen in hotels and restaurants surrounding the coast.
In an exclusive collaboration with The Webster, a collection of tableware is painted with our signature flamingo and is available now to bring vibes of the favorite Italian getaway destination into your home.
