Jeanne LANVIN founded the label in 1889, it is Paris' oldest French couture house. The brand matriarch made a name for herself as a milliner, expanded into making children’s clothes and soon after developed an entire lifestyle brand based in her Faubourg Saint-Honoré flagship boutique. During the roaring twenties, Lanvin was ubiquitous among the international fashion and arts scene, showcasing feminine yet avant garde designs for the epoch.
