The Los Angeles-based ready-to-wear brand was founded in 2008 by Daniel Corrigan and Chelsea Hansford. For the first six years, the label was exclusively men’s denim that combined the principles of Japanese fabrication with American craftsmanship. It was not until 2014 that the two creative directors expanded into women’s ready-to-wear and accessories.
Their ability to create timeless and well-crafted pieces that feel vintage yet modern is what made the brand a cult favorite. The designers take inspiration from modernism and nature to mimic a natural ease and sophistication in their pieces. Their bold colored and graphic print pieces are in high demand, and their textured fabrics and advanced wash treatments set them apart as a modern lifestyle brand.
