Based in Los Angeles, CA, THE ELSER STATESMAN was founded by Greg Chait in 2007 after discovering a cashmere blanket he was unable to find replicated elsewhere. With globally sourced cashmere imported from Afghanistan and Mongolia (to name a few), finished products are woven by Chait’s team of artisans who knit on vintage looms. The line quickly expanded from fine yarn blankets to ready-to-wear and accessories like hats and scarves. The assortment delivered to each of the brand’s stockists is exclusive and unique, with the exception of its capsule collection in collaboration with the NBA to produce high-end team paraphernalia.
