Prep and prime with a concealer and matte powder on your eyelids and under the eyes before applying mascara to avoid smudging. Curl the lashes well, then apply mascara starting from the roots of the top lashes, moving the wand first side to side then upwards toward the end of the lashes. Apply a conservative amount of mascara and let it dry completely before applying another coat if you wish to do so. Use as many coats as you feel comfortable with. One coat and your lashes are full and defined. Two coats and lashes are even more luscious, curled, and dramatic.
