MARINE SERRE debuted her eponymous line in 2017 with her graduation collection at La Cambre Mode[s], the prestigious art and design school in Brussels. Best identified by her signature crescent-moon motif, the French designer blurs the boundaries that separate sportswear, ready-to-wear, and couture. The mashup of these fashion camps is intended to produce what her team calls “new-functionalist ‘FutureWear’”. Driven by political, societal, and cultural consciousness, the resulting product is projected in standouts in more recent collections that include skin-simulating bodysuits, up-cycled accessories, and skirts inspired 19th century Moroccan garb.
