Founded in 2015 by Yan Xu and Loesje Donner-Raedts who are based in Amsterdam, Vondels creates christmas decorations that combine the love of design, quirk, and fashion.
Xu, who was previously based in Shanghai, China and worked in IT, started her own Christmas decor company back in 2003, while Donner-Raedts who hails from Brabant, Holland formerly traveled the world as a buyer for a large department store. Together, their entrepreneurial know-how and eyes for design culminated into Vondels after the pair met shopping for Christmas trimmings. The glass ornaments range widely from whimsical and unique to decadent and trendy, with all pieces hand-made.
