When French venture capitalist Charlie de Viel Castel’s grandmother passed away, she left him a loose diamond as her final gift to him. His desire to cherish the token led him to think of the alluring stones that washed up on the beach where he and his grandmother once went. By combining the two rocks, Charlie found a way to preserve his grandmother’s memory. In 2015, CVC Stones was born in New York City and the jewelry line marries two simple aspects of the natural world to create a one-of-a-kind piece of jewelry. Each elegant design features an 18K yellow gold, round diamonds or colorful gemstones and organically-shaped pebbles sourced from beaches.
