Founded in 2014, THORSUN is a swimwear brand by creative director George Sotelo based in New York. Having grown up between Los Angeles and Mexico, and spending many summers in Rio de Janeiro, Sotelo found that both style and practicality were not common features of the swim shorts he frequently lived in. So, while working for fashion consulting firm Robert Burke Associates, the emerging designer developed the expertise to start his own brand and launched his own line of swim shorts for men.
