Nico Vascellari Dream Merda T-shirt Black Yellow

In 2018, Italian artist Nico Vascellari incorporated a recent work of his using an anagram of the word “Dream”, converting it into “Merda”, in Fendi’s SS19 collection, for which he was enlisted to co-design with creative director Silvia Venturini Fendi. As one of the most recognized contemporary artists in Italy, Vascellari’s work is provocative and layered in interpretation, drawing inspiration from and reflecting on his life as a punk musician. Dream Merda suggests parallel realities which Vascellari has long explored in the some of the works he has exhibited around the world. The anagram has been transposed onto merchandise to create a capsule collection of hoodies and t-shirts, exclusively available at The Webster.
