For this Spring/Summer 2020 Thom Browne's Creative Director was inspired by France before the Revolution and was able to move Versailles to other worlds and times for this collection. We can expect to see models in towering wigs and powdered pink faces, Browne’s vision of the 18th-century silhouette, floating seersucker dresses with waist line to traditional corsetry, petticoats and ruffled bloomers in the softest pastel shades, his signature gray flannel suits were stripped back to their red, white, and blue lining in places, revealing traditional men’s boxer shorts that were buoyed by suspenders.
